Worship Opportunities

Summer Schedule

 
June 1st: One service at 10:00am
This service will be outside weather permitting followed by
a picnic. Bring a lawn chair or blanket if you wish
 
June 8th-August 31st
 
9:00 am Spoken Communion Service with sermon
 
10:00 am Service of Holy Communion
        Services will change from Traditional/organ led to
        Praise service led by the Band

Monthly Activities 

Food Bank--Fourth Tuesday of the month
The Food Bank will be open from 9:00-11;00. Coffee, donuts and a bag of food is provided. No income verification needed. Clothing and
other items are also distributed as available.
 
French Toast Friday---3rd Friday of every month
Meet at the church at 8:30am and travel with us to Camden
to make breakfast for the clients of New Vision's Community
Services. We serve upwards to 100-125 folks each visit.
 
Book Club
The book club meets in Naus Hall at 7:00pm the third Tuesday
of each month. The book for June 16th is "The Beach House" by
Mary Alice Monroe. This group is for guys and gals.
 
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Do you like to knit or crochet or would you like to learn how?
Come and join us as we knit and crochet prayer shawls for folks
who need some extra TLC and prayers as they cope with
life's struggles. We meed on the 4th Tuesday of the month in
Naus Hall parlor at 7:00pm.

Light supper for whole family along with activities and worship
Monday August 4th-Thursday August 7th: 6pm-8pm
Travel back with us this summer to when Jesus lived
in Jerusalem. We will be exploring what it was like to live and
work in the bustling city of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus.
We will be re-creating this time period through food, crafts,
stories and music.

Adult Educaton Opportunities for June and July
 
"A Feast for All?"
A time of study as we look at and discuss the age for our children
to begin receiving Holy Communion. This study is open to all.
 
Wednesday's at 10:15am or Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm
in Naus Hall Parlor
June 11th, June 18th and June 25th
 
Our Neighbor's Faith
 
We will be on the move in July as we visit various places of Worship, learn about
their teachings and see how the architecture of their worship spaces expresses
their faith and teachings.
 
Monday July 14th we will travel to Beth Sholom Synagogue in Elkins Park, PA  which was designed
by Frank Lloyd Wright. We will stop there at 10:30 after which we will have lunch
before traveling to Bryn Athyn, PA for a 2:00 tour of the Bryn Athyn Cathedral.
 
Monday July 28th we will visit St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church in Cherry Hill and the
Haddonfield Friends Meeting House.
